Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup Cooking Oil
- 1 onion. Peeled and finely diced.
- 5 Cloves Garlic, Peeled and Minced
- 6 Medium Sized Button Mushrooms
- 1 Cup Tomato puree
- 1/4 Cup Pepper puree
- 1 Cup Kidney Beans
- 1 Tsp. Salt
- 1 Tsp. Thyme
- A handful Spinach
- 1 Pack of Crown premium Twist Cavatto
- Cherry Tomatoes Optional
Instructions:
- Cut your button mushrooms and set them aside.
- In a pot of boiling water, add some salt.
- Pour in your crown premium twist cavatto and cook for 8-9 minutes or until al dente.
- Drain the water from the cooked pasta and set it aside.
- Heat some oil in a pot.
- Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the pot and sauté until they are soft and fragrant.
- Stir in the tomato and pepper purée and mix properly.
- Season the sauce with salt and thyme according to your taste.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and kidney beans to the pot and mix well.
- Pour in a little water to create a sauce and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
- Once the sauce has simmered, add spinach to the pot and mix it in.
- Now, pour in the cooked twist cavatto and mix everything together until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
- Lastly, add cherry tomatoes to the pot and mix them in gently.
- Once everything is heated through and well combined, your dish is ready to be served.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious twist cavatto!
