Beans & Mushroom Pasta Recipe


  • 1/2 Cup Cooking Oil
  • 1 onion. Peeled and finely diced.
  • 5 Cloves Garlic, Peeled and Minced
  • 6 Medium Sized Button Mushrooms
  • 1 Cup Tomato puree
  • 1/4 Cup Pepper puree
  • 1 Cup Kidney Beans
  • 1 Tsp. Salt
  • 1 Tsp. Thyme
  • A handful Spinach
  • 1 Pack of Crown premium Twist Cavatto
  • Cherry Tomatoes Optional


  • Cut your button mushrooms and set them aside.
  • In a pot of boiling water, add some salt.
  • Pour in your crown premium twist cavatto and cook for 8-9 minutes or until al dente.
  • Drain the water from the cooked pasta and set it aside.
  • Heat some oil in a pot.
  • Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the pot and sauté until they are soft and fragrant.
  • Stir in the tomato and pepper purée and mix properly.
  • Season the sauce with salt and thyme according to your taste.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms and kidney beans to the pot and mix well.
  • Pour in a little water to create a sauce and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Once the sauce has simmered, add spinach to the pot and mix it in.
  • Now, pour in the cooked twist cavatto and mix everything together until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
  • Lastly, add cherry tomatoes to the pot and mix them in gently.
  • Once everything is heated through and well combined, your dish is ready to be served.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your delicious twist cavatto!
